Emma

Emma started her swimming journey as a young Toddswimmer at Stars Swimming School and later ventured onto swimming at school as well as at swimming clubs in the Southern Suburbs area.

Although not going into competitive swimming , she was always actively involved in swimming for fitness reasons. At school ,she was always one of the only girls to regularly go swimming and always participated in galas that her school held.

She came back to Stars in 2017 as a volunteer assisting in the Office with reception duties.

Her swimming coaching journey started at the beginning of 2019 as an assistant coach lead by Vivienne and then later on obtained her learn to swim teacher qualification. She has also taught swimming at different schools in the Southern Suburbs area.

She always enjoys teaching the little swimmers and seeing the progress they make. It makes it extra special when they are happy and seeing them happy before, during and after their lessons. She enjoys teaching swimmers as young as 4 years old up to assisting adults in progressing and achieving their personal goals.

In 2022, she also obtained her lifeguard award at False Bay Surf Lifesaving Club.

Emma’s swimming coaching journey won’t stop at learn to swim and plans to achieve much more in being able to give more to her swimmers she teaches.
