We set out to dream up and design the perfect learn-to-swim facility, and it made perfect sense to develop a system aligned with our teaching goals: one which catered for people of all ages and swimming abilities, and which maximised on fun and learning.
After working with and sampling optimum group teaching sizes from pre-school classrooms and primary school education systems, and looking at Club swimming training layouts and structures, we sized up our available land and settled on a 3-pool learn to swim facility, custom-built to suit the needs of the target groups we studied.
We knew we could to marry each pool with highly specific and specialised learn to swim instruction methods.
Our Small Pool is 4m X 4m, and supports our Beginners Swimming lesson.
The depth is level throughout and is perfect for our little learners aged 4 to 6 years old.
We also do our preschool swimming lessons in this pool.
Expect our water temperature to average around 30°C.
Our middle-sized swimming pool is 6m X 8m, and is around waist level in depth.
We do our Kids Learn to Swim lessons, and TodSwim lesson in this pool.
This pool is also suited to our Adult Beginners swimming lesson.
Expect our water temperature to average around 30°C.
Our Big Swimming Pool is 12m X 8m, and we run both our Kids and Adults Stroke Correction lessons in this pool.
The depth is level throughout and is perfect for our little learners aged 4 to 6 years old.
We also facilitate a mini-Squad who use this pool for their 60minute Squad training.
Expect our water temperature to average around 30°C.
With the opportunity to acquire the plot of land immediately adjacent to the swimming school, we extended the facility to include an additional entrance area with it's own 6-car parking lot.
Initially our Office and Reception area was one small multi-purpose room attached to the facility, but in October 2013, we expanded our reception area, and renovated the smaller reception area into a swimming lesson viewing room.
Our current viewing room, where parents, sibling and friends can watch lessons without distracting swimmers from learning.
We included 3 separate changerooms in our building plans, which included wheelchair access, and all of which were fitted with baby changing facilities.
We have a fully functional separate reception area, and office.
We have a separate waiting room with couches. Parents often use this room to send urgent emails from their laptops.
